What areas do you serve in Canada?
Our container homes are prefabricated and can be delivered to any region in Canada. Before we proceed with a site assessment, we’ll conduct a preliminary review of your local zoning bylaws and regulations to ensure your project is feasible.
How do I get started with my container home project?
The easiest way to get started is by filling out our contact form. A team member will reach out to discuss your project in detail, answer any questions, and guide you through the next steps.
How are container homes heated?
Container homes utilize energy-efficient and space-saving heat pumps for both heating in the winter and cooling in the summer. HVAC systems can be configured to use either electricity or gas, depending on your installation specifications. Heat pumps offer a sustainable and affordable way to heat and cool your home.
How is hot water supplied?
Hot water in our container homes is supplied through a tankless hot water heater, providing endless and instant hot water on demand. This eliminates the need for a bulky storage tank, saving valuable space in your tiny home. Tankless water heaters can be configured to use gas or electricity.
Are container homes built for the Canadian climate?
Yes! Our container homes are engineered to withstand Canada’s weather, including cold temperatures and heavy snow. High-quality insulation and double pane windows ensure your home remains comfortable and energy-efficient year-round.
How is my container home delivered and installed?
Your container home will be shipped from our factory by boat to the nearest port in Canada. From there, it will be transported by flatbed trailer to your site and lifted onto its foundation using a crane. We use helical piles for a secure and efficient installation process.
What types of foundations are suitable for container homes?
Container homes are versatile and can be placed on various foundations, including helical piles, concrete slabs, or even compacted gravel, depending on your specific site conditions and local regulations.
