We provide a comprehensive 3D render package that includes the foundation design for your container home. During a design call, we discuss crucial aspects such as the home’s placement, orientation, foundation type, styling, budget, and project goals. We also conduct zoning verification to ensure your project complies with local regulations. The package comes with an option for design revision, allowing you to make adjustments based on your preferences. Additionally, we prepare detailed drawings and an engineering proposal, setting the stage for moving on to the next step of the process.

We begin creating the architectural and engineered drawings needed for your building permit. We’ll prepare a Development Permit (DP) Drawing Package that includes your site plan, floor plans, elevations, sections, and the initial design for your foundation. This package also contains the first draft of your architectural drawings.  Our engineering services can include structural foundation design, a specific engineer’s stamp for our model, energy calculations, civil engineering, septic design, soil reports, and flood zone reports, depending on local requirements.

After we finish all the architectural, engineering, and certification work, we gather all the drawings and necessary documents. We then submit these materials for Building Permits to your local building officials. They will review everything and give their approval so we can move forward with your project.

Next you’ll make a Manufacturing Down Payment before we start making your home. This payment reserves your spot in our production schedule and locks in your pricing. After you make this payment, we order necessary materials like HVAC systems, windows, steel, and appliances. At the same time, your local contractor should begin preparing your site and building the foundation.

Manufacturing progress payment is required once the structural frame is completed and the exterior paint is applied.  Once the rough-in for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work is finished, the final payment for your container home is due. We complete the insulation, drywall, painting, and all interior finishes.

The delivery and onsite assembly of your container home take place. A Project Manager will conduct a site visit to review the foundation and ensure everything is set for installation. Once the site is confirmed ready, we schedule cranes, trucks, and the construction team to your location. The contractor on site will work with the Crane Operator to precisely place each module onto the foundation and complete the assembly of the home. After the modules are secured and welded to the foundation, the General Contractor connects all necessary utilities. The process concludes with a final walkthrough, after which the keys to your new home are handed over to you.
